"Died, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Argent Cansdell, of Hudson, I. T., Mr. Rosaman Cruzan. He was 81 years of age, and until the last two years has been a resident of Willow Springs, where he had resided since the year 1860. Between 12 and 1 o'clock a. m., May 29 he quietly passed away. The cause of his death was congestion of the lungs and dropsy of the heart. He leaves one son, Wm. Cruzan, of Coffeyville, Kas., and Mrs. Argent Cansdell, of Hudson, I. T. The remains were taken to the Coffeyville cemetery for interment. Thus another of Willow Springs' oldest settlers has gone to fathom the mysteries of "The great beyond." Peace to his ashes."
