Mary McAllister, 86, of Dumas, TX died July 29, 2019.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox Ave, with Grady Burkhalter officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Shamrock Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Dumas.
Mary was born in Shamrock, TX on February 20, 1933, to Homer and Hazel Chapman. She graduated from Shamrock High School and then Nursing School in Denver. Mary was a nurse for Dr. Askins for 31 years. She also served as a Justice of the Peace and County Judge for over 10 years. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her son, Danny McAllister and wife Sheila, of Dumas; daughter, Debbie Newcum and husband Curtis, of Midland, TX; brother, Larry Chapman, of Pampa, TX; sister, Frances Treat, of Amarillo; grandchildren, Kerri, Tammy, Casey, and Dustin; and great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jarrett, Teegan, Haylie, and Braxton.
