Larry Davis Dickerson, Sr., 78, of Danville, passed away on July 29, 2019. He was born in Danville, on January 9, 1941, son of Larry Eston Dickerson and Laura Davis Dickerson.
He retired from Corning Inc. after 40 years of service. He was a charter member of United Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter.
On January 2, 1961, he married, Ellen Eanes Dickerson, who survives. Survivors also include four sons, Larry D. Dickerson, Jr, (Teri), Mike Dickerson, John David Dickerson (Kristy) and Kevin Dickerson (Melanie), eight grandchildren. He was also predeceased by a sister, Marie D. Dalton, and granddaughter, Mandi Hamlett.
Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
