My four great grandfather, Isaac Fleenor married his first cousin, Lydia Margaret Fleenor, 24 October 1812, in Washington County, Virginia. Together they were the parents of eight or nine children; viz: Joel B. Fleenor, Thompson Daniel Fleenor, Mary Ann Fleenor, Hiram Fleenor, John H. Fleenor, William Perry Fleenor, Robert Clinton Fleenor, Elizabeth Jane Portlock. The ninth child has been identified as Isaac, thereby explaining the "Senior" in his name.
According to the "History of Des Moines County, Iowa, Volume 1"
Isaac and his sons came to Pleasant Grove Township during territorial times.

Isaac, with his family, moved to Rush County
in Indiana where they were among the early pioneers, then came to Des Moines County in October 1836.
He died on July 26, 1841 in Pleasant Grove.
