Stephen Dale Stewart, 68, of Somerset, passed away peacefully in his home Friday, July 26, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born December 26, 1950 to the late Robert Stewart and Kathleen Turner, Warren, AR. . He grew up in Warren, AR, moved to Shreveport, LA where he worked for Lucent Technologies, then transferred to Somerset, Ohio where he has lived for the past 30 years. He was an avid bowler, gardener, thoroughly enjoyed his Harleys, sports cars and loved the peaceful life of living in the country with his life companion, Marsha Patterson. Survivors include his companion, Marsha Patterson, daughters, Traci Stanfield and Stephanie Stewart; grandchildren, Gregory Fox and Ashlyn Orive; mother, Kathleen Turner; sister, Vanessa Pruitt; step sisters, Dixie Curry, Linda Reep and Becky Rauls. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stewart; his half-brothers, Rex and Dennis Stewart; and his sister, Joyce Smith. Steve was very much loved by his friends and family who will dearly miss him and his witty sense of humor
