VIRGINIA BEACH--Harold Zeno Daves, 42, of 113 S. Palm Ave., the husband of Mrs. Dores R. Daves and a native of Rutherford County, N.C., died Wednesday. He was a Korean War veteran.
He lived here 20 years and was a self-employed contractor. He was a son of Mrs. Ella T. Daves.
Also surviving are nine sisters, Mrs. Buna Edwards, Mrs. Jessie Gibbs, and Mrs. Reba Hamrick of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Ellie Melton of Hampton, Mrs. Nell Burns of Ellenboro, N.C., Mrs. Dessie Packard of Mooresboro, N.C., Mrs. Belvia Carpenter of Marion, N.C., Mrs. Mamie Beggerstaff of Forest City, N.C., and Mrs. Ethel Webb of Charlotte, N.C.; and a brother, Woodrow Daves of Gastonia, N.C.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road, by the Rev. Charles Jones. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park.
