Leslie loved his family, fishing and hunting. He was a lifelong blacksmith learning the trade from his father at a very early age. He and the boys loved competing to see who would catch the biggest fish.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Lois (Langwell) Pierce; brothers, Roy Pierce, George Pierce, Albert Pierce, Henry Pierce; sisters, Peggy, Maud, Jessie, Tommy. Survivors include his son, David Pierce and his wife, Jane of the home; Leslie Pierce, Jr. of Oregon; granddaughters, Sarah Pierce of Chandler, Shamara Pierce and Cinden Pierce of Oregon, Cora Pierce of Hawaii; niece, Jessie Pierce of Washington; nephews, George Pierce, Matthew Holloway along with other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held in the Lehman Funeral Home chapel with interment following in the Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Lehman Funeral home of Wellston.

Leslie Pierce was inducted into the Centenarians of Oklahoma Hall of Fame at the age of 101. He lived 102 years and three months.
