Sarah Adline Fox (aka: Sallie) was the daughter of Harbon Riley Fox and Elvira Grant. She married John Crockett Fox July 11, 1894. Sallie and John Fox were first cousins. Sallie's father, Harbon Riley Fox, and John's father, Johannon Fox, were brothers---both sons of Uel Daniel Fox. Sallie and John Fox had 13 children.

Obituary from "The Amarillo Globe-Times," dated Saturday, October 11, 1958, page 2:

"MRS. SALLIE FOX SERVICES SET

Funeral rites for Mrs. Sallie A. Fox, 84, will be conducted Tuesday. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Fox, a resident of Amarillo since 1938, died Sunday at 4 p.m. at her home. She was born November 10, 1873, in Grayson county, Texas and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include six sons, Claude Fox, and M.W. Fox, of Amarillo, Don Fox, of Lubbock, Ruben Fox, of Fort Worth, Ollie Fox, of Merkel and J.D. Fox, of Taliban, N.M.; two daughters, Mrs. D.O. Fancher, of Calvin, Okla., and Mrs. Bill Kimble, of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Melissa Forehand, of Lexinigton, Okla., and Mrs. Vinesa Thompson, of Stratford, Okla.; a brother, Will Fox, of Marlowe, Okla.; 46 grandchildren and 70 great grandchildren."
