Danny was born on June 21, 1956, to the late Lorris Wade-Archer and William Thomas Archer also known as Mike Archer in Amelia, Virginia. The family later relocated to Fredericksburg,Virginia where Danny began his adolescent life, and met life-long friends and a lot of special extended family.
On May 27, 1974, Danny entered the United States Army where he received his high school diploma and began serving our country for 20 years. While in the Army he obtained a plethora of decorations and awards including: Army commedation medal, Army achevement medal, good conduct medal, National defense medal, NCO professional development award, and the Army service ribbon. After exiting active duty in 1988, Danny became a Recruiter for the United States Army until his retirement in 1994 with a rank of Sergeant First Class.
Danny’s hobbies consisted of playing and making music, with a special gift of learning to play the piano by ear. Anything that attributed to music, Danny could do it. He played the piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums, and could even carry a tune. He also enjoyed keeping his cars clean, and staying up to date on all new technology.
He is preceded in death by his mother Lorris Wade-Archer and father William Mike Archer; sisters Glynis Wade and Dora Louise Wade; maternal grandmother, Dora Wade; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Wade; three aunts; Lillian Wade, Luecelia Richardson and Shirley Wade; two uncles Louis Wade and Leroy Wade.
Danny leaves his loving and caring memories to be cherished by his loving and devoted children, Danny Thomas Wade Jr. and Danielle Joslyn Wade; five grandchildren Ethaniel Thomas Wade, Zenorah Ivylin Larose Wade, Mikolania Donumdeis Inbellacaelum Wade, Weighland Krystopher Gavenport Wade, and Daniel Devontae Prosise; the love of his life, Joslyn Wade; one sister, Gale Wade of Amelia, Va; four brothers Jerome (Ronnie) Wade, William (Henry) Wade, Robert Lee Archer of Fredericksburg, Va and Jeffrey Fountain of Richmond; two aunts, Lillie Mae Taylor (Edward) and Blanche Wade; one uncle, Little Thomas Wade(Florence); a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends that loved him dearly.
Remains rest with the Owens Funeral Svcs, 1808 Princess Anne, Fredericksburg, va 22401 where funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday May 21, 2019.
