A religious service took place at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue for Steve J. Roberson Sr., 67, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, who died at 5 p.m. March 20, 1997. Burial was in Daigle Memorial Cemetery in Bayou Blue.
He was the husband of 44 years of Catherine Doucet Roberson; father of Steve Jr. and Mark Roberson and Mrs. Lee (Elizabeth) Daigle, all of Bayou Blue, Mrs. Michael (Mickey) Pike of East Corinth, Maine, and Mrs. Kevin (Ramona) Naquin of Schriever; brother of Mrs. Herman (Carrie) LeBouef Jr. of Schriever and Mrs. Albert (Ruby) Breaux of Bayou Blue. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Aleida Boudreaux Roberson; and two infant brothers.
He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bayou Blue and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired warehouse manager for Quality Shipyard Inc. Falgout Funeral Home Inc. of Houma was in charge of arrangements.
