Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Joseph James Carroll and Eva Ryesdorph Carroll and wife for 48 years of the late Edward W. Hull, Sr, who died, November of 2016. She had resided in Troy, Snyders Lake and the Wynantskill areas all her life and attended Troy Public School 16 and Troy High School.
Sharon was a clerk for Roxy Cleaners in Wynantskill and Latham for 35 years, retiring in 2004.
Survivors include a son, Edward W. (Tricia) Hull, Jr., Troy; a daughter, Sherri (Christopher) Hull Lillis, Wynantskill; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Katelyn and Jenna Hull, Kristopher and Noah VanDenburgh and Jeffrey, Jared and Jake Lillis; two sisters, Janice M. Sedgwick, Jane Whaley and a brother, Michael Whaley and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas, Joe, David, Richard, Harry Carroll, Linda Herrick and Shirley Hare.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11 AM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. 276 Pawling Avenue Troy with Rev. Trygve Tomlinson, officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Wynantskill at a later date.
