Was born in Germany August 3, 1842; came first to America in 1866, and lived in Iroquois County, Ill., two years and followed his profession, when he came to Nebraska. Was elected County Coroner in 1875, since which time he has acted in that capacity. He has one of the principal drug stores in the city. Was married in Platte County, in 1871, to Miss Julia Schaad, a native of Switzerland.
