Kenneth Ralph Hull, 82 of North Mankato, died July 21, 2019, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato.
Kenny was born March 28, 1937, to Ralph and Gladys (Bue) Hull in Sisseton, South Dakota. He graduated from Sisseton High School in 1955. Kenny served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959. On August 6, 1960, he married Barbara Parker. Together, they had four children, Jody, Kelli, Staci, and Kent. They moved to Mankato where Kenny was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. Throughout his life he enjoyed time outdoors, gardening, fishing, relaxing at the lake, and working in his garage where you might hear the Twins game playing on the radio. Anyone who met Kenny loved him and enjoyed his company. If he met you once, he would always remember you by name. His quick wit and gift for telling stories about his life were unparalleled. He was a wonderful friend to many and always willing to lend an ear or a hand. His wife, children, and grandchildren were his true pride and joy.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Barbara of 58 years; daughter, Jody (Timothy) Stagg and their children Melissa, Nicole, and Lauren of Hudson, WI; daughter, Kelli (Donald) Donais and their children Mackenzie and Mitchell of Apple Valley, MN; daughter, Staci (Jaime Taylor) Murphy and her children Sarah and Patrick of Mankato, MN; sister, Cleo (Kenny) Reitan; brothers, Glen Hull and Robert (Collette) Hull; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Hull and Gladys (Bue) Hull; his son, Kent Hull; and brother, Wendell Hull.
