Gloria Dean (Ray) Gray, 78, of Paragould was born in Marmaduke, Arkansas on December 10, 1940 and died on July 26, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Gloria learned from her parents at an early age the importance of honesty, integrity, and a solid work ethic which she put into practice with every job she ever held throughout her 56 year work career.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Jerry Don Dortch, her parents Marlin B. and O. Allie Ray, her oldest brother W.H. “Dub” Ray, and her husband Gene Gray.

She is survived by her children Philip Dortch, Carla Dortch (James Hendrickson) and Chris Gray; grandchildren Dustin (Sarah) Dortch, Stephanie Dortch, Ali Frame, Geri-Lynn (Mike) Campbell, Blake Kashuba, Tyler Leitzman, Chris Gray Jr, and Brandon Gray; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Jackie (Beth) Ray, Nelda (John) Vojtanic, and Marlene (Ronnie) Brengard; and sister-in-law Lena Ray along with a host of dearly loved nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends.

The visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Emerson Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
