Mr. Gary Lee Trowbridge, age 73 of Sparta , Tennessee, passed away Thursday morning, June 13, 2019 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Gary was born May 11, 1946 in Longstreth, Ohio to the late Edwin Srancis Trowbridge and Audrey Shirley Harris Trowbridge. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company Truck Assembly plant in Louisville, Kentucky. He was an avid fisherman and loved history. When he was not on the water fishing, he was in the water prospecting
for gold. He had all of the prospecting equipment and struck gold in East Tennessee. His faith was important to him and he was saved October 31, 2010 at the Center Point Church and baptized July 2011. Gary served his country in Korea as a radio commander in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a sister Debbie Gross and brother Dennis Trowbridge.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years Ann Myers Trowbridge of White County, Tennessee; Daughter: Jessica Marie Trowbridge of Kentucky;
Brother: Joe Trowbridge of Kentucky; Sister: Lynn Tarson of Ohio;
Step-children: Eric Holman, Derrick Holman and Jason Holman.
Sister-in-law: Glenda Moore and husband Danny of White County.
Several step-grandchildren.
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 in the Chapel of the Hunter Funeral Home with full Military honors from the Veterans Honor Guard. Danny Moore and Robert Wright will officiate the service.
