MELISSA'S OBITUARY
Melissa Carol McCraney Forrest, of Moorhead, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at her home. Melissa, affectionately known as Missy, was born December 1, 1958 and was the daughter of James Winford McCraney and Mary Alice Lester McCraney.

Missy worked for SuperValu in Indianola as the Printing and Advertising Coordinator, retiring after 30 years of service. She always put others first. Missy was very dedicated to her family and friends. She loved to sew and loved going to watch her kids when they played baseball. Missy also loved attending all the activities her grandchildren were involved with. She was a member of Moorhead Baptist Church.

Missy was preceded in death by her parents, Winford McCraney and Mary Alice McCraney Ouzts. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Johnny Forrest; sons, John Forrest of Cleveland and Jason Forrest of Coffeeville; brother, Winford Dale McCraney and wife Jill of Grenada; sister, Julie Coker and husband Ray of Gore Springs; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hollis, Dalton Hollis, Jaslyn Forrest, Jamison Forrest and Jalah Forrest.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burton Funeral Home of Indianola has been entrusted with arrangements.
