Nils W. Norene, a fireman for Chess and Wymond Co., died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn. He was 53 and lived at 911 Algonquin Parkway. He was a native of Brownsville, Ky., and was a member of Robinson Masonic Lodge, and Ninth & 0 Baptist Church. ; He also was a member of the Firemen and Oiler's Union. Survivors include his widow, the former Jewell Meredith, and a daughter, Mrs. Judith Ann Sumner. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
