Faye Hope is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Elbert Blair Sr., son: Elbert Blair Jr. (partner Joyce Jones), daughter: Crystal Blair, brothers: Joe (Joyce) Crook and Ralph (Gloria) Crook, sisters: Beverly Edmonds, Pasty (Jim) Holzeman, Dorothy Loudermilk and Sharon Powers, sisters-in-law: Alice Crook, Neva (Jim) Lacy, Judy Blair and Michelene Blair, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and extend family and friends.
Faye Hope is preceded in death by her loving parents: Burl Hume and Nellie Crook, daughter: Tracy Santare, brother: William Crook, brothers- in-laws: Frank Edmonds, Ed Loudermilk, Paul Powers, Ed Blair, Ralph Blair and other family and friends.
She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was family orientated with a heart of gold. Faye Hope was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Schererville, IN, The American Legion in Griffith, IN, and The VFW in Griffith, IN. She will be loved and missed by many.
Visitation will be held Friday October 28, 2016 at Burns-Kish Funeral Homes, 8415 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday October 29, 2016 atthe funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Faye Hope will be laid to rest at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.
