She passed away just three hours before her sister, Barbara Banks Larsen, and was surrounded by her family and friends.
Charlette was born February 12th 1941, in Palmyra, Utah, to John Robertson Banks and Mary Ellen Mower Banks.
She married Robert Earl Williams on September 13th 1963 in the Manti, Utah, temple.
Charlette attended Spanish Fork High School and graduated with the Class of 1959, she earned a Fashion Scholarship to a school back East but her father requested she remain in Utah. She worked for the phone company Mountain Bell, as a telephone operator and later became a homemaker. She was an incredible seamstress and could make just about anything with or without a pattern, the same goes for her cooking skills, her abilities were remarkable, she didn’t even need a recipe! Who needs recipes anyway!? Charlette loved to work with her hands, she loved working with wood and made many decorations for her home and her family, she loved to oil paint and created many beautiful landscapes. Her other passion was gardening, she always had a nice yard with the prettiest flowers.
She was a lady of many talents. Charlette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings throughout her life.
Charlette was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Ellen Mower Banks, her husband Robert Earl Williams, her brothers Fred Ray Banks, and Neil M. Banks, and her son-in-law Dan Horton.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa Williams, her son Travis Williams, her brothers Dan Morris Banks, and Marvin J. Banks (Karen) and brother in-law Weston Dale Larsen.
There will be a viewing held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and the funeral will begin following the viewing at 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 25th 2019 at the Palmyra LDS Church located at 1866 West 5000 South Spanish Fork, Utah.
