Rev. Raymond Oliver "Tootie" Whitlow, 69, of Glasgow, Ky., died Thursday, November 1, 2001 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
The Barren County native was the son of the late W.D. Whitlow & Sarah Owens Abner Whitlow and husband of the late Nettie Mae Perkins Whitlow. Mr. Whitlow was a school bus mechanic for the Barren County School System and was a member of the Hillside Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Lynn Jones and husband Larry of Glasgow; two sisters, Shirley Sanchez of Philadelphia, Pa., and Brenda Forbis of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Kimberly Rene' Young of Bowling Green; and one great-grandson, Forrest Lee Ferguson. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Larry Michael Whitlow; and one brother, Orbie Whitlow.
Funeral services will be held at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Moore officiating. Burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery following services.
Pallbearers were Mike Whitlow, Jason Forbis, Roger Forbis, Tommy Forbis, Ed Davis and James Grissom.
