Christopher Leon Watkins, 42 of Star City passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home.
He was born July 13, 1977 in Pine Bluff.
He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Star City; was a welder for SAF-Holland in Dumas and was an Auxiliary Deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter.
Preceding him in death was his father, Grover Leon Watkins.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Lynda Holman (William) Lane of Star City; 2 sisters, Rhonda (Mike) Gober of Wye Mountain and Teressa (Raymond) Harrington of Sheridan; brother, Michael (Tanya) Watkins of Dollarway; niece, Mary Rose Gober and 3 nephews, Joshua Watkins and Matthew and Cody Harrington.
Funeral services are 11:00AM Monday, July 29, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Jimmy Williams officiating.
Visitation is 9:00-11:00AM Monday at the funeral home.
Burial at Drake Cemetery.
