He was born Jan. 31, 1927, in Florence, to William Earl and Mary Agnes Olsen Davis. During WW II he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Wiseman, a destroyer escort. He worked for Jayhawk Pipeline for many years, and was station operator at Ellinwood when he retired in 1984.
On May 9, 1947, he and Carolee Myers were married. She died Dec. 18, 1950. On Sept. 15, 1951, he and Lola Mae Alfstad were married in Newton.
Survivors include: wife, Lola Mae; son, Doug of El Dorado; stepsons, Robert Inlow of Copan, Okla., Lee Inlow of Wann, Okla.; 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent, one daughter, one brother and one grandchild.
