Love, Edith Marie, departed this life on Monday, June 3, 2019. Born in Richmond, Va., on December 29, 1950, Edith was the oldest daughter of eight children born to the late David Lee Addison, Sr. and Mable C. Addison. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, a son, two sisters, and two brothers. Edith leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughter, Rhonda Love (Xavier Mickens); grandson, Xaveon Mickens; two granddaughters; brother, Joseph Addison; sister, Irene Taylor (Daniel Taylor, Sr.); a host of nieces and nephews; two devoted friends, cousins, and others.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 10, at Trinity Baptist Church, 2811 Fendall Ave. Visitation 12 noon until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at McClenny and Watkins Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave., Richmond, Va. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Her brother, David Lee Addison, Jr. died 06-05-2017, and is #183305706 in the same cemetery.
