A native of Texas, Kathy was born to Alva Ray Bowers and Nena Jane (Gray) Bowers on September 10, 1950 in Tarrant County.
She was married to husband, Robert Alan King for many years, 17 of which they resided in Ukiah.
Theirs was a close marriage. They shared a love of nature, and always kept the humming birds well fed, and surrounded themselves with a myriad of plant life to brighten their home. They were remembered as kind and genial friends and neighbors, who enjoyed a peaceful, quiet existence in their final years together.
Kathy was well loved by her family. She leaves behind another brother, a daughter, two grand children as well many cousins.
She will be interred alongside her husband, in her home state of Texas.
