Lula Ann Bryant was born April 8, 1921 at Liddieville, LA to Otis and Lissie Ferguson. She married Abner Bryant on June 10, 1946. She is a graduate of Ogden High School, Northeast Junior College, Monroe and LSU, Baton Rouge, LA. She taught homemaking for 12 years at John Tyler High School.

Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Abner Bryant and her sisters, Marie Wilson, Violet Franco, Carrie Mae Chevalier, Cecil Taylor, Espie Lee Powell. She is survived by two daughters, Anita Beam and Alecia Bryant of Tyler; two grandsons, Jeffrey Liles and wife Nicole and their daughters Emilia and Hailey Liles, Kale Liles and wife Samantha and their children Beau and Shelby Liles; one brother-in-law, John Powell and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was a long time member of Queen St. Baptist and Westwood Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school classes. In her retirement years, she spent time with her husband as he built churches with Texas Baptist Men. Her testimony would be God is so good, His grace is sufficient.

Services will be held on Friday May 21, 2021 at 1:00pm, with a visitation following at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home, 12053 State Hwy 64 W Tyler, TX. 75704. Officiated by, Reverend James Cheatham and Reverend Tom Crawford.
