He retired from Bose and had been a Recreational Instructor. Richard was an outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, hunting, singing and playing his guitar.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Sandra Smith of Allen; sons, Richard Everhart Jr. of Paden City, West Virginia and Michael Everhart of Bankers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dorothy Bumpus and brothers, Robert and William Everhart.
There will be no services or calling hours for Richard Duane Everhart Sr. at this time. Interment will be at Bankers Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home – George White Chapel in Quincy.
