Miriam Maurine Johnson, 94, of Pasadena, Texas passed away July 23, 2019. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Walter Road Church of Christ. She contributed to the Medina Children’s Home, she was the owner-operator of J Beauty Shop for over 30 years. She walked 3 miles every day with her husband and friends. She loved flowers and having friends over and also, enjoyed helping her sister-in-law Neva Hardy cater weddings.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence T. Johnson; son, Phillip E. Johnson; parents, Bedford Martin Hardy and Dovie Mae Ash Hardy. She is survived by her son, Thomas Johnson and wife Joy; grandchildren, Sean Johnson, Angela Hawes, Amy Wallace; great-grandchildren, Hailee Johnson, Evan Hawes, Justin Wallace and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel 2203 Pasadena Blvd Pasadena, Texas 77502. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 26 in the funeral home chapel. Graveside service will follow at South Park Cemetery.
