Born in Franklin County, Alabama, she was the daughter of Daughter of General Custer Vinson (1895-1965) and Claudia Pearl McKinney Vinson (1898-1966) of Franklin County, Alabama.
Known Siblings: Charles Oscar Vinson (1918-1922), Gwendolyn Elizabeth Vinson Crawford (1920-1991), Raymond C. Vinson (1922-1991), Dorothy Alene Vinson Hellums (1923-2002), Harold Lloyd Vinson (1925-1980), Vernall Vinson (1928-?), Mac Vinson (1929-2011), Ross Weatherford Vinson (1931-2002), Myra Sue Vinson (1936-1996).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard and grandson, Tyson Alexander.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Kinney (Richard) and Cris Martin (Bill); granddaughters, Katie, Kelli, Kaley, Kelsi-Beth, Kalli and Kennedy. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Church at McAdory.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial was at Highland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Big Oak Ranch or your favorite charity.
