Harry M. Pletcher, 76, Champion RD 1, died April 29, 1985, at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home. Born Sept. 28, 1908, in Melcroft, Pa., son of the late Clarence and Clara (Miller) Pletcher. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Ethel Ritenour; second wife, the former Rachel Eagle; and by one brother, Donald. Survived by his wife, the former Jenny Bowers; three daughters: Mrs. Glen (Elsie)Pritts, Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Earl (Stella) Beeman, Somerset RD 8; and Mrs. Dolly Bowen, Barberton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; two sisters:Mrs. Mae Pletcher of Somerset and Mrs. Lyda Henry, Canton, Ohio. A retired coal worker and foundry worker. Attended Center Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David Lykens officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
