Mark Allen Tate, 53, of McLean died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 in Shamrock.
Services will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the One Way Church in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes and Rev. Casey Carter, officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Mark was born on April 16, 1966 in McLean to Gerald Dean and Emma Jean McMullen Tate. He was a lifelong resident of McLean. He worked as a self-employed welder for most of his life. He enjoyed going shooting and cooking. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids, and cooking for everyone. He was a great storyteller and a hard worker. He had a strong work ethic and loved the shiny things in life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his daughters Kelsey Seymour and husband Lucas of McLean and Logan Eddleman and husband Billy of Claude; son JC Skinner and wife Jessica of McLean; sisters Lee Ann Feenstra and husband David of Stanfield, AZ and Kara Fox and husband Logan of Seymour; 8 grandchildren Alexis Eddleman, Greyson Eddleman, Adalyn Eddleman, Taylor Eddleman, Shae Seymour, Swayze Seymour, Jalyn Skinner, and Jaxyn Skinner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to the McLean Volunteer Fire Department.
