Laura Faye Davidson, 53, of Schertz Texas, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Main Methodist Hospital in San Antonio after a courageous battle with Cancer and Respiratory Failure. The family would like to thank all the Doctors, Specialists, Nurses and Aides for caring for her during her extended hospitalization. She was diagnosed with diffuse large B cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer just one day after being intubated for respiratory failure. She faced her foe (cancer) with grace, courage, and dignity. She spent her last two months battling this implacable disease. She put up a good fight, she was so incredibly strong and barely shed a tear. Cancer may have taken her, but she received the ultimate gift, and that was to go home to God, where she always longed to be. We take comfort in knowing she's at peace, no more suffering, no more pain.

Laura was born in Tahoka Texas on Tuesday, May 3rd, 1966, to Hubert and Glenda Davidson. She spent her working years caring for patients with disabilities, until an injury at work led her to become physically disabled herself. She also suffered a stroke in 2008, which limited her physical disabilities even more. Her disabilities didn't stop her from her passion of caring for others though, even if it meant putting herself in a bind. To those that met her, she instantly became "Mamma Laura". She never met a stranger. When you came to visit her, you didn't leave without a gift. She was so giving, so selfless. Our mother was a woman of faith, hope, love, and strength. Thru her darkest of times, her faith in God grew even stronger, by the end she was ready to go home to him. She never hesitated to spread God's word and help lead someone into the right direction, back to Him. She was so caring. Someone you could tell all your secrets to, without judgement, nothing but love, support and encouragement. Always there for whatever you needed, whether it be for a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen. She was always there! Always our Mother and our Father. After several marriages, she finally decided God was the only man she needed in her life, and she bravely raised her children on her own.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Glenda Davidson and brothers, Dennis, Lloyd and Hubert (JR) Davidson. She is survived by her Daughters, Krystal (Coombs) Rogers and Husband Stephen of Abilene Texas, Taryn Wier and Fiance' Justin Holden also of Abilene Texas and Ashley (Wier) Cagle and Husband Chad of Schertz Texas. Sisters, Deborah Hughes, Carrie Wooldridge, Elizabeth (Ann) Davidson all of Abilene Texas, Glenda (Sue) Beauford, Frances Savage both of New Braunfels Texas, Pamela (Davidson) Harris of Haskell Texas, and one Brother, Norman Davidson and Wife Debbie of Kansas. Twelve beloved Grandchildren, Kaitlynn Kerstell, McKenzie and Gracelynn Wooldridge, Tristan Callaway, Addyson, Benjamin and Ammilee Dean, Braleigh, Taylor and Avery Cagle, and John and Scarlett Faison. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, Bonus Children and Grandchildren and Friends.

We wish we could hold her one more time, it feels like it's been so long already. We long for the day we will see each other again, so we can run up to her and hug her and never let her go. We love her more than words can say, and we miss her terribly. Mom, you will be missed by so, so many. You are so loved. Fly high sweet, sweet Angel. Heaven has gained the most Beautiful one of all. Love always and forever infinity, to the Moon and Back, Your Ladybug, Bright Eyes and Missypoo. "Let's just be even".

A memorial service will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Tx 78130 on Saturday August 3, 2019 at 10:00am
