Helen Marie Hurst passed from this life at the age of 82 on July 22, 2019 in Tishomingo, OK with her loving family by her side. Helen was born in Bromide, OK to parents Douglas John and Helen Marie (Allen) Crosley. She spent her life growing up in Dallas and California before moving back to the Johnston County area. Helen wasn't what you would call a girly girl when it came to what she enjoyed doing in her spare time which was fishing, archery, scuba diving,or gardening; if it involved the outdoors, she was in. She adored her animals. Her family would tell you that she had no filter; if she thought it, she would say it. Comical, witty, outgoing and charismatic are just a few words to describe this wonderful woman. Helen loved her family dearly, especially her daughter Janie and granddaughter Katt. They would tell you that she was always a phone call away or would greet you at the door with arms held open wide and was always there when they needed. Helen was a one of a kind woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hurst; parents, Douglas and Helen Crosley; brother, John Crosley.
Those she leaves to cherish her memories are her daughter, Janie Vezzoli and husband, Dale; granddaughter, Katt; sister, Jewel and husband, Mark; brother, Jimmie and wife Kathy; niece, Lily Smith.
