Mrs. Viola E. Weaver, aged 58 years, wife of George J. Weaver, for many years a resident of Peters township, died last midnight in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she was taken about ten days ago. Mrs. Weaver was highly respected and had many friends in the community.
She had been in poor health for more than a year, having suffered a nervous breakdown early in 1920. She had apparently recovered from this, but last December sustained a severe injury by a fall in her home. As she did not recover rapidly it was decided to take her to the hospital. Until a day or two ago her condition was not worse than it had been, but, yesterday she was seized with a sinking spell, and passed away at midnight.
Mrs. Weaver's maiden name was Cook. She was a native of Minnesota. having been born at Wabasha in that state In 1887 she was united in marriage with Mr. Weaver. Besides her husband she leaves three daughters: Edna, wife of Walter McConnell, Peters township; Mary, wife of Marvin Wilson, who with tier husband is making her home at the Weaver residence and Clarissa, wife of George W McMurray, Peters township. She is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, living in the West. Mrs. Weaver was a member of the Greenside Avenue United Presbyterian Church of Canonsburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p. m. (standard time) at her late residence.
