Lynda P. Levi, 73, of Inlet, NY, passed away July 16, 2019, at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare.
She was born, July 7, 1946, in Utica, NY, a daughter of Joseph and Lillian Berg Payne. She received her education in Inlet and Town of Webb schools. Lynda married John Levi on February 13, 1965, in Inlet. Mrs. Levi was bookkeeper for Payne & Levi Sawmill. She was a member of the Church of the Lakes, Inlet Fire Ladies, and the Inlet PTA. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her husband; four children, John II (Thera) Levi of Old Forge, Julie (Sean) Manzi, Daniel (Georgia) Levi, and Gerald (Heather) Levi, all of Inlet; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by five sisters, Shirley, Carol, Joan, Audrey and Elaine.
Funeral services are Saturday, July 20, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of the Lakes, Inlet. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 128 Fern Ave., Old Forge. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Inlet Fire Department and Ambulance. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
