Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 12:00pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Perkins, Rev. Russell Sheets, Rev. Roosevelt Carlton, Rev. Silas Hart, Rev. Brenda Faust, Minister Fontrina Wray and Rev. William Greer officiating.
Burial was made in the Cox's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from 10:00-12:00pm on Saturday, July 27, 2019; two hours prior to the funeral service.
Miss Wolfe was born in Ashe County on November 21, 1936 to the late Winferd D. Wolfe, Sr and Rosa Lee Hamilton Wolfe. She retired from Tyson Foods, after working for 43 years. She was a member of Cox's Grove Baptist Church. She served as the church secretary for several years. Christine was a hard-working woman and loved all of her family and friends; she will be greatly missed.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eloise Poe and Shelby Wolfe; three brothers, Ray Hamilton, Thomas, Wolfe and Robert Dane Wolfe.
Miss Wolfe is survived by two brothers, RC Wolfe, of Greensboro and Junior Wolfe, of Jefferson; two sisters-in-law, Ida Wolfe, of Philadelphia, PA and Anna Wolfe, of Philadelphia, PA; two special great, great nieces, Faith Wolfe and Kaeleigh Wolfe, both of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews also survive.
