He was born in Spokane, WA and lived in Hollister since 1984 and served his country honorably in the Army from 1942 to 1946. He is a graduate of Washington State University in architecture, helped with Trinity Lutheran Church, Hazel Hawkins Hospital, San Benito County Water District, Ridgemark Cart Barn, San Benito Bank formation and was a member of Ridgemark Golf and Country Club.
He is survived by his Children, Karen Thompson (Larry) of San Jose and David Sandstrom of Hollister and his grandchildren, Carolyn and Jennifer. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, who died in 2012 [sic].
