Floyd was born February 8, 1945, in Sanford, Michigan, the son of Wayne and Rosa (Randall) Keyworth. Due to unfortunate circumstances within the family, but God's timing, Floyd entered the Evans family at age seven, and was adopted by Nick and Cora (Adriance) Evans. Floyd graduated from Gobles High School, Class of 1964.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany as a tank driver, during Vietnam. Returning home, Floyd married Linda Phiscator, on December 20, 1969. He drove semi trucks for most of his working years.
Surviving are his wife, Linda; two brothers: Dave and Audrey Evans, Jim and Mary Ann Evans; five sisters: Nora Cooper, Vera and Ned Kaufman, Mary Lou Pollen, Pat and Tom Taylor, Mary and Paul Root; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both sets of parents, his brother, Claude Keyworth.
Friends may meet with the family on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Allegan on Tuesday at 11 am. Pastor Nathan Smith will officiate. Military Graveside Services will be conducted by Otsego VFW Post 3030, at Hudson Corners Cemetery, Allegan Twp.
