A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, July 26, 2019, at First Presbyterian Church, Orangeburg, SC, with Reverend Doctor Darren Bess officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Presbyterian Centre.
Kim was born in Greenwood, SC, daughter of the late Malcolm Onnie Wood and Marcia Copeland Todd Wood. She earned her B. S. and Masters degrees from Winthrop University. Kim was a Claims Adjuster for State Farm Insurance Company for twenty-eight years. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority of Winthrop University, having served as President. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, Orangeburg, where she formerly served as a Deacon and was active in the Women's Circle. Kim was a member of the Beaver Creek Indian Tribe. She volunteered at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in the Bookbag Ministry, where she was instrumental in establishing a Coat Ministry.
Survivors include her mother, Marcia Todd Wood; daughter, Isabella Catherine Reed; son, William Copeland Reed; brother, Todd M. Wood (Danette); nephews, Spencer and Jack Wood; niece, Harris Wood, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
