TINKER, James William, of Mount Morris Township, age 61, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Henry Ford Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends 1-7 PM Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 N. Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township. Mr. Tinker was born in Flint, January 31, 1958, to Bill J. and Charlotte M. Tinker. James loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his friends, and reminding people that life is too short to not enjoy yourself. He lived for the good times, being outdoors, and ensuring those around him had fun. James worked for General Motors on the assembly line for 29 years before his retirement in 2003. He spent his leisure years taking fishing trips with his close friends, fulfilling his lifelong dream of going to Hawaii, and spending time with his grandson. James is survived by his wife Dawn and his twin children Jamie and Justin. James immediate family also includes his siblings Carol and Daniel, stepson Grant and his wife Michele, grandchild Maximus, Uncle Bill and wife Marilyn, and many lifelong friends.
