Pete was a member of Harleton United Methodist Church for more than 60 years, dual lifetime member of the Grand Lodge of Texas and Little Cypress Lodge, past master of Ashland Lodge #1138 and was a 32 degree mason. He was an electrician.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Arie Alford and Geneva Clark Alford; a grandchild Eljiah Mark Alford; and son-in-law Charles Patrick "Pat" Wright.
He is survived by his wife, four children, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a special cousin that was more like a sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
