Mrs. Hazel (Ware) Young of Conyers, GA was born June 8, 1932 in Hazelhurst, GA to the late Rufus Ware and the late Leola (Faison) Bloodworth. She was the third child of four siblings. She was proceeded in death by her son, Joseph Young; brother Otis Ware; and two sisters Rosie Lee (Ware) Thomas and Shirley (Ware) Hendrix.

In 1949, she married David Benjamin Young, and was blessed with five daughters and four sons. She was Head Chef with Pine Isle (Stouffer’s Corporation) for many years. Upon retirement she began taking care of her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Hazel accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. She continued be an active member, serving on the Mother Board of Woods Memorial Baptist Church of College Park, GA.

Hazel was an awesome mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, Christian and a friend to all. She loved spending time with her family; but also enjoyed watching sports, game shows, cooking, traveling and casinos.

On the evening of July 18, 2019 she rested her sweet spirit and joined the Savior in the home not built with hands, but whose maker and builder is God. She leaves to mourn her passing, five daughters Brenda Yvonne of Conyers,GA; Ola Mae (Fred) of Morrow,GA; Wanda (James) of Decatur, GA; Brenda Joyce of Morrow,GA; Bridgette of Atlanta, GA; three sons Leotis (Marie) of Savannah,GA; David Ricky of Morrow, GA; Canorris (Lynn) of Jonesboro,GA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
