James Edward Sunday, 82, of East Palatka, passed from this life on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Solaris Health Care in Palatka. A native of Bay County, Florida, James served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Titanium Enterprise where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. 
He was preceded in death by parents, Lenox Sunday and Savannah Qualls Pickeron, wife, Viola Sunday, sisters, Lillie Lenoir and Lottie Jordan brothers, Willie Bruce Sunday and Troy Sunday, a daughter, Tammy Renee Sunday Douglas and the mother of his children, Betty Sunday Walter.
James is survived by his children, Rick (Terri) Sunday of East Palatka, Jim (Diane) Sunday of Toms River, NJ, Vicky (Brian) Fogarty of Satsuma and Timmy Sunday of Panama City Beach, his grandchildren, Crystal Collins, Serena (Tom) Baar, Lacy Stallings, Mary Easterling, Marissa Colagrosso, Nichole Colagrosso, Kayla Sunday, Tasha (Robert) Willis, Christopher Grems and Waylon Grems, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandson the way.
