Deborah Sue “Debbie” McCoy, 61, of Abilene, died Friday, July 19, 2019, at a Baird Nursing Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde. Burial will follow in the Clyde Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Debbie was born July 8, 1958, in Junction City, Ohio, to Earl B.and Betty L. (Ray) Foltz. She attended school in Palestine, Illinois. She worked as a care giver for the Abilene State School and for Instead Senior Living. Debbie moved to Stamford from Ohio in 1991 and from Stamford to Abilene in 2002.

Debbie is survived by her son, Cory McCoy and wife Krystal of Abilene; her daughter, Tiffany McCoy of Abilene; three brothers, Roger Foltz of Benton, Illinois, Thomas Foltz of Sumner, Illinois and Edward Foltz of Palestine, Illinois; five sisters, Teresa Foltz of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Felicia Hoffman and husband Mike of Robinson, Illinois, Janella Foltz of Martinsville, Indiana, Nola Gray and husband Tony of Robinson, Illinois and Tamara Foltz of Palestine, Illinois; three grandchildren, T.J., Te’Niyah and Traevon Lee; and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jamie Harris; and her brother, David Foltz.
