Bobby Joe May 61, of Sidney, KY departed this life Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born September 20, 1956 at Williamson, WV the son of; the late Daniel and Pearlie Maynard May.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers; John Thomas & Burgess Ray May, sisters; Faye Smith,
Virginia Blackburn, & Mary Ellen williamson and a granddaughter; Kaitlyn Leigh Daniels.
Bobby was a coal miner in the coal industry and was of the Church of God Faith.
Survivors left to honor his loving memory include his loving wife; Kathy Smith May, a daughter; Cathy Jo Daniels (Larry) of Majestic, KY, a brother; Danny Larry May of Dearborn Mich., four sisters; Wanda Smith of Sidney, KY, Linda Gail Caudill of Whitesburg, KY, Lila Bevins of Logan, WV & Jean Schwabb of Dayton, OH, a granddaughter; Makayla Faith Daniels, special nieces and nephews; Daniel Williamson, Stephen Varney, Marie Morris & Rachel Williamson.
He is also survived by other family, neighbors and friends.
Honoring services will be conducted Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the New Beginning Church of God of Road Fork, Sidney, KY.
The Reverends; John McCoy, Harold Layne and Larry Blackburn will be officiating.
Burial will follow in the Smith Cemetery of Road Fork, Sidney KY with Larrry Daniels, Daniel Williamson, Stephen Varney, Billy Morris, David Adkins & Paul Daniels serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends in the church, Thursday & Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with service to follow at 7:00 P.M.
