James Samuel Burrell, Jr., 40, of Timberville, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
He was born in Harrisonburg on February 16, 1978, and was a son of Sherry Elaine Hartman, of Harrisonburg and James Samuel Burrell, Sr., of Fulks Run.
James worked at Pilgrams Pride. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He was a member of the New Market Eagles.
He was united in marriage on May 20, 1997 to Bobbie Jo (Beach) Burrell, of Timberville.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two daughters, Madalin Burrell, and Brandi Burrell, both of Timberville; a sister, Charity Garber and husband Wayne, of Ft. Seybert, WV; a brother, Daniel Lyn Burrell and wife Donna, of Fulks Run; a half brother, Shawn Burrell, of Broadway; three half sisters, Robin Renee Beach, of Broadway, Christy Barr and husband Jeff, of Hinton and Theresa Caricofe, of Upper Track, WV. He is also survived by nephew, Ashton Arbogast, and sister-in-law, Vanessa Helmick and husband Jeremy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
Following his wishes his body has been cremated, and the family will have a private service.
