Fannie and her two sisters, Elizabeth & Sarah were orphaned in 1866. Jeremiah & Susan Blevins adopted them at the request of their mother on her death bed. Fannie grew up in Roxton, TX with the Blevins family. She married Jackson Bright in 1881 in Lamar County, TX. They had nine children together.
