Larry David Craig, 51, of Cartersville, GA passed away Friday, July 19, 2019. Larry was born March 11, 1968 to Mr. Lawrence George Craig and Mrs. Viola Millwood Johnsey in Marietta, GA.
Larry was a very talented man. In his high school years, Cassville High School Class of '86, he was in marching band, Eagle Scout, and a straight A student. Larry was truly dedicated to anything he pursued. He was a devoted husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. In Larry's later years, he enjoyed being PePaw to his three grandchildren. He worked for Chemical Products for 12 years before working for AT&T for over 19 years. Larry will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Virgil and Mary Lou Craig and Mr. Jim Millwood and Lois Millwood Lipscomb, mother-in-law, Linda Ruth Berry, aunt, Shirley Ann Hall, and nephew, Maverick Wehunt.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Berry Craig, children; Kirsten (Armando) Craig, Aire Craig, Brandyn and Parker Jeffery, mother, Viola (Daryl) Johnsey, father, Lawrence (Cathy) George Craig, grandchildren; Ellery, Sawyer and Finn, brother, Allen Hitt, sisters; Jenny (Simon) Drummond, Michelle (Brian) Blankenship and Connie (Jason) Arp. Several nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Larry's memory.
A Celebration of Life Service for Larry will be conducted in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel Monday, July 22, 2019 at eleven o'clock in the morning. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brandyn Jeffery, Parker Jeffery, Caleb Wehunt, Allen Hitt, Armando Ramirez Saucedo and Drew Hightower. Interment will follow the service at Pine Haven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Al.
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home, Sunday, July 21, 2019 from six o'clock in the evening until eight.
