Laura Jean Stewart, 60, of Madison, Indiana, and daughter of the late John and Wilma (Kidd) Stewart, was born June 28, 1959, in Madison. She was united in matrimony to Robert Youngblood. She was previously a custodian at Southwestern Schools and currently owned and operated Paw Paws Pet Grooming. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9, American Legion and loved music, singing, dancing, spending time with her grandchildren and was an animal lover. She was a good listener, enjoyed helping people and loved having a good time. Mrs. Stewart passed away at her home on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Her life will be cherished by her children: Markietta Burns (Ryan) of Madison, Rockco Burns (Dawn), of Madison and Justin Klingler, of Madison; her brother: Bill Stewart, of Lexington, Indiana; her grandchildren: Felicia Rector, Allie Rector, Whitney Rector, Autumn Wardlow and Aubrey Higgins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Youngblood; her son, Christopher Burns and her brother, Allen Wayne Stewart.
The Reverend Robby King will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 24, 2019, and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Thursday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
