Mrs. Helen Baustian, Former Resident, Is Dead in California
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Helen Baustian, former resident of Scott County, in Pasadena, Calif.
Mrs. Baustian was born in 1874 at Mt. Joy and was the daughter of Peter and Christina Wiese. She married Herman Baustian in 1905 and the couple lived in Scott county until 25 years ago when they moved to California. Mr. Baustian preceded his wife in death 12 years ago.
Surviving are one son, Wilbert, Pasadena; two sister, Mrs. Meta Ploehn, Bettendorg, and Mrs. Annie Priester, Davenport; three brothers, Henry Wiese, Eldridge, Emil Wiese, Laverne, Minn., and Christian Wiese of Davenport, and one granddaughter, Nancy Baustian of Pasadena.
