Patricia L. Marks, 72, of Mesa, AZ, passed away November 11, 2014. Pat was born in Shelby, Montana on August 19, 1942, the daughter of Charles James and Annie Catherine (Ekholt) Wiegand Jr. She grew up on the family farm with her hard working parents and 7 brothers and sisters. She married and relocated to Sacramento California where she resided and raised her family from 1965 to 1986. She later relocated to Sparks Nevada, remarried and moved to Mesa Arizona. Pat loved playing cards, spending time with her friends and family and spoiling her two little dogs. She was so generous with her time and love and will be greatly missed.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wiegand, Jr. and Annie Wiegand, brothers, Charles Wiegand, III and George Wiegand, sister Sally Caplis, granddaughter Patricia Elaine Townshend and husband Joseph Marks.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Joe O’Neal, son William Townsend, granddaughter, Payton O’Neal, grandson, Willy Shier, sisters Dorothy Seymour (Norman), Sue Heavirland (Loren), Karen Taylor (Murray) and Polly Ettinger, dozens of nieces and nephews, her companion Robert Giusti and countless friends who were like family to her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 6747 E. Broadway Rd., Mesa, AZ 85206. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, Mesa, Arizona. A reception will follow in the Club Room at Leisure World Recreation Center #1 from 3:00 – 5:00.
